Fajr Film Festival receives 137 movies and docs

A total of 137 films have requested to participate at the 36th Fajr Film Festival in Iran. 

Following the deadline end for entries, 43 documentaries and 94 feature films have registered for the event.

The list of the films will be announced soon after the evaluation of all the registered movies by the selection committee.

Since its establishment, the Fajr Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.

The 36th Fajr Film Festival is scheduled to be held on February 01-11, 2018 in Iran.
